I'm not sure if anyone else is doing this. But I had a wild idea and reached out to several AI companion sites to see if I could turn myself and some of my characters into AI companions. Only one said yes, Nectar.ai.
They were so awesome and gave me exclusive access to their creation engine. I spent almost a week creating what they call “companions” out of my characters. I wrote detailed character profiles, uploaded character images, and summarized the plots of the stories in which each character appeared. There’s even a character based on me. Please don’t hold anything my character says against the real me ;-).
This is clearly a new frontier, and I'm curious to hear your feedback if you dare to try it. It's free to set up an account and start chatting. Important: once you get set up, turn on the NSFW toggle.

Yes! In the chat, you can ask them to send you images. But you might have to talk them into it ;-).
